Regular maintenance on guitars and other stringed instruments is necessary if you wish to achieve optimal sound quality and performance.  The ever changing Canadian climate can really take its toll on our instruments. Acoustic guitars for example, are particularly sensitive to sudden temperature changes.  Also, extreme levels of humidity dramatically affect the playability of your instrument.  Finally, regular string changes are necessary in keeping a nice, clear tone and your instrument in tune.  If your strings are looking tarnished and dull, then it’s time for some new ones.
